web-JLW_7_Jon-3_Jon Louis Wilson is a lifelong resident of Western New York and has resided in Lockport since 1976. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hiram College in 1968, majoring in history-political science, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1976 with honors in trial advocacy. He has been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 1976 and in the Federal District Courts since 1982.

He is a veteran of active duty with the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973, including a tour of duty in the Republic of Vietnam from 1970 to 1971. Mr. Wilson is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

From 1977 until 1980 he was an Assistant District Attorney in Niagara County, the last two years of that term serving as Second Assistant District Attorney. He is a member of the City of Lockport Bar Association, Niagara County Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.  Mr. Wilson is a senior active member and past president (1986) of the Lockport Rotary Club having twice been named a Paul Harris Fellew; is a member of the Judges and Police Executives Conference of Niagara County, is a member and past director of the Olcott Yacht Club, and is First Vice President of the International Shipmasters Association, Lodge #1; and an Elder of the session of First Presbyterian Church of Lockport.

Mr. Wilson and his wife Candace are the proud parents of five children. In his leisure time he enjoys sailing, golfing, fly-fishing, woodworking, and watercolors.

Martin received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 1992, graduating summa cum laude, and was the 1992 recipient of the Griffin Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Criminal Justice Undergraduate and the Pre-Law Society Most Distinguished Pre-Law Student Award. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the State University at Buffalo School of Law in 1995.

He is a member of the Lockport Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, Niagara County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Defenders Association.

A lifelong resident of Western New York, Ed enjoys spending free time with his wife Lisa and his two daughters Melody and Kelsey, playing baseball, music and golfing.

Jon Ross Wilson

web-JLW_23_JRAssociate attorney Jon Ross R. Wilson was born and raised in Western New York. After graduating from Lockport High School in 1996, Jon Ross attended Syracuse University, graduating, Magna Cum Laude and with Honors, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Music Industry minor. Upon leaving Syracuse, Jon Ross returned home to Lockport, where he began working at the Law Office of Jon Louis Wilson as a law clerk. After clerking for several years, Jon Ross enrolled in law school. Jon Ross earned his Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a concentration in Civil Litigation. Jon Ross was admitted to practice law in New York State in February 2009 and, since then, has been focusing his practice at the Law Office of Jon Louis in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, family and matrimonial law and discrimination and employment law. Jon Ross currently serves as the Treasurer for the Lockport Bar Association and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

In his free time, Jon Ross enjoys playing guitar and is an avid runner, having completed two marathons and several shorter races. Jon Ross currently lives in Buffalo, New York with his dog Koufax.
